Sony Buys Crunchyroll From AT&T for $1.2 Billion

WarnerMedia’s Crunchyroll, the leading streaming service devoted to anime, is getting a new owner. Sony-owned Filmation will pay $1.2 billion to acquire it, which currently has over 3 million paid subscribers and has over 90 million users worldwide.
