It felt wrong to lead with that considering the sort of filmmaker Vallee was.
Born and raised in Montreal, Vallee studied filmmaking at College Ahuntsic and the Universite du Quebec.

Vallees mother died of cancer three years before he directedWild.
Of course I related to the material,he said in that CBC interview.
If they can, thats a plus, because were here for 80 years 90 if were lucky.
But the trip is amazing.
