Today is Baby Nuts birthday.
Its his 21st birthday, to be precise.
Im officially 21, my friends!
Before you ask, yes, I was just a baby.
What can I say?
Its been a nutty year.
Butthe brands have to march on.
So Mr. Peanut died and then Baby Nut was born.
that the Super Bowl commercial would be the end of it.
Dont we have enough to deal with?
Doesnt 2020 present enough challenges?
For a while there, it really seemed like we mightve escaped.
Baby Nut laid low for several weeks.
Theres been a global pandemic, but Baby Nut has tweeted through it.
#BasketballIsBackhe tweeted cheerfully in July.
But I shouldnt have been surprised.
Going to a bar could fatally sicken us mere mortals.
In truth, though, Baby Nut was built for this.
Of course hes still here, just muddling through like everyone else.
Thats not to say that I am excusing thisat all.
Planters couldve quietly walked away from Baby Nut.
We all couldve walked away and pretended this never happened.
And its still happening.
And now its Baby Nuts 21st birthday.
Hes Peanut Jr. now.
