Its trash, Rachel tells Dana, describing the book she got from Peter last episode.

But I cried at the end because I loved the main character.

By the end I realized Id changed my mind about him.

But the way she describes Peters loathsome-yet-sympathetic protagonist could easily apply toMythic Quests own.

In season two ofMythic Quest, weve seen Ian in a position of weakness.

For him, the stakes have rarely been higher.

The pressure, clearly, has been getting to him.

So everything seems to be coming up Ian.

Then the other shoe drops: He has a heart attack.

Except its not really a heart attack, of course.

His blood pressure dropped because he was dehydrated and hadnt eaten in a day or two.

All hes prescribed is a juice box and the hair pills he asked for.

On one level, this is great news: Ians heart is working fine.

Poppy didnt need to worry as much as she did.

This is clearly affecting him on a mental level.

In one of the most moving sequences of the series maybethemost Poppy grasps the extent of Ians insecurity.

Ian mightve sold out with his lazy expansion, but Poppy sold out with battle royale.

And Poppy still wont be open and honest about her own fear.

And there are so many other beautiful details to this final scene.

I love the brief comic relief of Ian requesting Poppy sing a different song, one in English.

I love that the episode closes on Poppy singing Rainbow Connection duetting with Willie Nelson.

Its okay, she assures him.

Im sorry, Ian says, choked up.

Its okay, Poppy says, shaking her head.

Im sorry, Ian repeats, almost pleading.

Its okay, Poppy says in close-up, her eyes conveying genuine forgiveness.

Its okay, she says one more time.

Some of season twos character journeys have felt a bit rushed.

But in this scene, amends feel earned on both sides.

And we know that theres nothing left to do but forgive.

New stuff setting up a potential season three?

Dude, Im a nice guy, David says.

No one takes advantage of me!

returns to cartoonish-but-funny side character this week.

But I dont mind much, since we just gottwofullepisodes focused solely on him.

Stop howling, Brad says.

The scene of Dana coding at Rachels apartment (or is it Danas?)

made me realizeQuarantineis really the most weve ever seen of the characters homes.

Dana thinks Rachel is David when she walks in and wakes her up in the middle of work.

Your voice sounded so much like David.

Why does everyone always say that?

Rachel says, in a very David-like voice, before clearing her throat.
