Obviously Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) are not, uh, normal.
Both are characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
(Hence the not eating.)
Its a Marvel movie.
Its very much a TV show.
And, somehow, it all works.
Olsen and Bettanys characters were often treated like benchwarmers on an all-star team in theAvengersmovies.
Here, they really shine.
The notion of revealing ones true self is a running theme throughout the series.
It ends up acting as a commentary on social expectations, too.
