The clock is ticking on Dash and Lilys love story.
Thats right, people: Were back where we started.
Well, finally Mark shows up with the notebook and one final message from Lily.
Like a good Gen Z-er, Dash goes to Boomers Instagram to track him down.
But thats how much he loves his friend and wants to make things better.
He is in love!
But how can he fix things?
He needs to be real with her.

Yep, Nick Jonas walks in on their conversation because it happens to be his trailer that theyve commandeered.
Dont worry, Nick went to band camp with the Challah Back Boys, so its totally cool.

Grandpa Arthur refuses to compromise with both Great-Aunt Lillian and Mabel in Florida.
And her parents kept a lot of information from her that was very much not cool.
She also stands up to Arthur: It wasnt Dashs fault, shes owning her mistakes.

He remains unmoved: Lilys going to Fiji.

He knows her better than anyone.
He knows that she is smart and brave and takes risks for what she wants.

Do I feel bad for her parents who have no idea whats going on?

Lily is getting her run-through-the-city-toward-love rom-com moment!
She walks upstairs to find the space decked out for Christmas.

Dash starts to apologize, but Lily stops him.

Only, she is having trouble saying it.
Shes never felt this way before.
And when words fail, she gets brave: She goes in for the kiss.
As Langston pointed out, its not about the first kiss, its about the first kiss that matters.
And this is the one that matters.
There is, of course, the matter of Fiji hanging over their heads.
Lucky for them, theyve closed a door that they werent supposed to and are locked in the Strand.
