Lucille reassures Michael that it would be a very difficult charge to prove and then winks at him.
Walter first did Lucilles special slo-mo wink in the pilot, thinking it would be a nice touch.
Also, she wanted to show off.
Most people cant completely close one eye.
Try it, try it!
Its very hard to close one eye totally and keep the other one open.
I thought it would be fun.
Its the strange, twisted thing she does.
Lucille later gives not one but two winks to Michael (Jason Bateman: also anaccomplishedwinker).
Oh my God, Im so glad!
I do it a couple of times in these fourteen episodes, she said.
I mean, I dont overdo it, but I tried to get a few in.
I dont know if theyll keep em in, but Im glad to hear its been appreciated.
Afterward, Lucille adds, Now theres someone who could have used a good mother.
The drive-by outburst wasnt an ad lib.
The wink was mine.
That was our genius writers, she said.
It was the perfect thing Lucille would say to someone so scantily clad.
And she was wet!
When Im acting and somethings right for the character, I dont even think twice.
The Gene Parmesan scream in Amigos!
He shows up at her penthouse in a blue bear suit with balloons.
Shes delighted to be fooled.
First of all, Martin Mull, who plays Gene, is so adorable, she said.
I did like getting to smile and scream.
You know, theres something very little-girly about Lucille.
I dont see her as any kind of a villain.
She gets excited about these surprises of his because I believe thats how shed react!
Walter revealed that she recently got to channel Lucilles girly side once more.
Gene comes back, she said.
Hes in our new season.
He fools me again!
I couldnt wait to film that episode, truly.
We all had to come up with our own dance.
All I could think was to flap my wings, Walter laughed.

Lucille was really quite drunk in that scene, so it wasnt embarrassing at all.
It was easy, she said.
I dont know that mine is as good as Wills his is just incredible.
But Im sort of the old crow in the bunch.
Im not as wild as the kids.
And she never had a problem keeping a straight face.
Lucilles so self-involved, shes never really looking at what anyone else is doing unless it benefits her financially.

Somebody in the audience asked, and of course, were allgame!
Walter recalled spending upward of two hours in the makeup chair being transformed.
Obviously we didnt have to do the hair, but it still took quite a while.
It was a little scary to see, if Im being honest, she said.
She hasnt lost it.
I dont keep it in my wallet or anything, but Ive got it.
Of course I do.
They really did a brilliant job on me, she said.
