That same month,Jamie Foxxhad confirmed his involvement in the movie by posting aquickly deletedimage of three Spider-Men.
On the one hand, there was all of that evidence.
But on the other hand, we had a bunch of actors promising us it wasnt true!
Yes, actors literally pretend for a living.
(Plus, ina post-credits scene, Tom Hardy as Venom.)
While guesting on theHappy Sad Confusedpodcast, he laughs at the idea and recommends that people chill.
They might be doing something, but aint like I aint got a call, he says.

When pressed, he concedes that he doesnt want to rule anything out.
Maybe theyre doing like a market research thing, he suggests innocently.
Andrew Garfield is ready to talk about those rumors about his return as Spider-Man.

November 22, 2021:Garfield reiterates toGQthat he is not in the movie.
The outlet reports that the actor actually hasnt worked intensively since 2018 and has become comfortable not working.
