On Tuesday,Houston Public Media announcedthat it was suspending the broadcast of the podcast.

Yesterday, two other Texas stations,KUT in AustinandMarfa Public Radio, followed suit.
They all cited the same concerns as Houston Public Media.

This development comes in the wake of a letter-writing exchange between a group of public radio stations and theTimes.

Its unclear at this point if other stations will drop the podcast.
Its an embarrassing enough situation for theTimes, but the extent of the fallout remains to be seen.
